About Your Peak and Me

Hi! I’m Sami and I’m the founder of Your Peak Yoga.

I’m a yoga teacher based in Berkshire, UK and I teach a range of yoga abilities from advanced to beginner, but my main yoga practice is Power Yoga. My classes are mostly online teaching group classes and 1:1’s.



I have a passion for sharing the incredible yoga benefits to as many people as possible, through my classes and social media.

Yoga has supported me through my sports’ training, my hectic work schedule and through motherhood over the years and it’s become a huge part of my life.



I first started yoga when I was working in marketing in Richmond in 2006 and I was training for the London Marathon. I was constantly feeling injured during my busy training program and then I stumbled across a new hot yoga studio. I was immediately drawn to the wonderful feeling of stretching out, feeling super energised and building up a sweat from every class. I practised in the studio twice a week and it amazingly healed my injuries. I completed the London Marathon for a second time the following year and yoga became a part of my training and daily routine.



As well as a yoga teacher, I’m also a qualified Primary School Teacher and I privately tutor children in maths and English. When I was working in a primary school, I loved sharing my yoga sequences and relaxation techniques with the children. The teachers joined in too. Whilst on holiday with my wonderful friends and family, I started teaching yoga sessions. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching yoga and practising with others and so I decided to complete a yoga teacher training course in 2018. Your Peak Yoga was born that summer and I’ve loved every stretch since!



Every year my family and I visit my brother in Austria for a Christmas holiday. We’re all keen skiers and adore the fresh mountain air, the skiing lifestyle and taking in the beautiful landscapes. Viewing the mountains on a beautiful sunny day, right at the top of the ski lift in December 2017, gave me the inspiration to fulfil my dream of becoming a yoga teacher and I wanted to name my brand after my favourite happy place… the peaks.

Yoga is suitable for every single body and has incredible benefits no matter what shape you are. Your practice is about Your body and no one else’s. Get inspired and always aim to reach Your own peak.
